Many of us could be on the same boat! Ask yourself, does your earnings match what you owe?  If not, how do you ever expect to pay debts off? Here is a serious question?

Is school worth going into debt for? Better yet, Is the value of school, by using loans and having debt, worth the risk of never getting out of debt?

Raised in a pretty traditional family, I was always taught, "Don't buy anything unless it's with cash." Students buy education on credit or with loans, but would they ever get a car they knew they couldn't afford with the same worth? A house? Anything?  This is a matter of debate, depending on different personal scenarios and situations, but as for me, I refuse to go into debt for school!

Read up on current situations that will fine-tune your thoughts! Here is one that did it for me-

Do you love what you do?

This is amazing!  I agree 100%.  "What is the work you can't not do?"  I think most of us are in the bubble not knowing what we are doing or where we are going in life.  We aimlessly do things because it's the norm or someone else told us to do it.  As millennials, we have the chance to use our creativity and imagination like no other generation before us, due to technology and human advancements.  Instead of being cliché or following the routine lifestyle that most people live, I believe we must rise up and find something better.  Imagination is the bridge to which dreams become reality.  Dream it. Do it. Become it.

Decisions create reality

Isn't it amazing to think of the different decisions we make every day?  Literally, the average human adult makes roughly 35,000 decisions EVERY DAY! That's a brain cramp in itself! However, while analyzing our daily routines and activities, it's easy to understand how that number adds up.  You are making a decision every word you read on this blog to keep reading because, for some reason, you are interested in what it says, or you're my mother... Decisions create a reality for all of us.

But our generation, it is difficult to make hard decisions and stick to those decisions.

Looking back on life, we can envision moments in our life where we wish we would have made different decisions. Why? "I should have tried out for sports... I wish I would have stuck with piano lessons... Looking back, I should have treated my siblings better..." The list goes on and on. Digesting this a bit, the reason we are not happy with our decisions is because we are not happy with the reality that followed.  The opposite is also true! When we look back on great decisions, the reason we have great experiences like those come from the great reality that came to fruition afterwards.

What kinds of decisions do you make every day? What kind of reality are you wanting? Do your decisions lead you there?

I don't mean to brag, but in the must humble way, I admit that I have made one of the greatest decisions of my life. I just got engaged! But looking at my decision to get married, I am happy with it, but I am more excited for the reality that I hope comes from it!

I hope we begin to analyze more where we are in life and understand how we are where we are based on our decisions and reactions that we have made in the past.  We are where we are because of what we have done.  Let's make better decisions for the future, because quite literally, our reality is at stake!

The Republican Hope

It is quite interesting to see the comments from the republic debate this last week.  There were so many points brought to the floor that I have never heard/thought of before that I found quite phenomenal.  During the entire debate, Obama was talked about as if he were the devil himself, while comments about Ronald Reagan were quite elaborate and positive.  There are some potential people on the poll that I believe would be a great president, but the important question is, "Which one of these will have the best chance against Hilary Clinton?".  I personally believe that it will take a massive effort to unify the republican party all around the nation around a candidate fast.  My personal opinion is that the democratic party has done a great job over the years pointing fingers at the: "white, rich, racist, businessmen of America" and given them the status of "Republican", and there are many people who would never follow such a leader. Now, I am not saying by any means that the candidates are this way, however, they do have that label on them that has been placed there for presidential runnings for centuries. For this reason, I find it hard to believe that a Republican will be in office for years to come, or at least until the republican party unifies together on a strategy to defeat the Democrat party.  How will it happen? Will it happen? Only time will tell, I hope they figure it out soon! Who has my vote, at least for now? Carly Fiorina, by a long shot.

Can you relate?

WELCOME TO MY NEW BLOG! I hope that while reading my insights on life/opinions/philosophy/etc... I can open your imagination in thoughts of WHATEVER! I hope that while reading my posts, you will have a mix of feelings and emotions. Bitterness, passion, hope, tears, dreams, and all of the above, and I hope to get feedback on your feelings!

To kick all this off, I believe one person who "gets" our generation is Jimmy Fallon! Here is evidence of that!
